Perfectly balancing classic style with staying power, our fun seasonal trends for 21’ are sure to provide that sassy summerspiration you’ve been looking for.

Feel good dresses

This summer we’re all about feeling great in our own skin, so fabulous feel good ladies’ dresses are at the top of our must-have list. Casual, everyday one-pieces make summer styling so easy, and can take you from breakfast to the beach effortlessly.

Think lightweight fabrics and relaxed silhouettes. We’re absolutely loving acid-hued florals, ribbon detailing, feel-good colours and puff sleeves galore.

While summer is always the time for splashing the hues, the colour-averse amongst you will rejoice in the fact that timeless black and white are to be seen in this season.

Whether it’s a sporty shirt over tailored trousers, or a more feminine take with puff sleeves and full skirts, there’s a way to inject the monochrome look into your own unique style.

Sustainable shirting

Thought the humble white shirt was a style of the past? Think again.

This summer, the shirt has had a high fashion makeover. Whether it’s oversized, cropped or  asymmetrical; whatever your mood, there’s a shirt for it. Here at White Rose, we showcase a selection of men’s second-hand shirts from designer brands and top high street stores so you can show off the oversized on-trend style, while giving back to the planet.

Choosing to shop second-hand designer clothing, or recycling your used garments means you are living a more sustainable life.  What’s even better, the high quantity of water that would have been used to make your new clothes, instead of getting lost as industrial waste, can now be used for other more purposeful reasons, such as drinking water for those in need.

Top tip:

Clothing has no gender- Always look in both men’s and women’s sections and you may be surprised with what you find!

Trusted denim

While denim never really goes away, let’s just say it’s taking a lead role on our centre stage this summer with 70s inspired high waist jeans, denim dresses and oversized denim jackets stealing the show.

Denim is a fabric that you can integrate into your wardrobe year after year, it’s an ethically-approved wear, simply down to how many times you can style it. When it comes to summer it’s time to hit the double denim with daring white jeans, and some colourful, bold accessories.

Pink and red

For those who do like to brighten up their wardrobes come summer will love the shades of Crayola red and pink taking over.

We’re loving these hues with a pop of sunshine yellow for a real head turning statement.

Try accessorising a fuchsia dress with yellow accessories or dare to pair some mustard trousers with a blush coloured blouse or shirt.

This trend is all about experimenting.

Flossing and key holes

No, we’re not talking about that TikTok trend, but an altogether more chic and stylish approach. We’re talking items embellished with straps, usually around the bust or midsection that show off parts of your skin.

Why not get creative with our affordable second-hand clothing pieces and create your very own cut-out garments.

Our sustainable fashion fix

Here at White Rose, we have discovered a way in which we can combine our passion for unique fashion with our care for the planet, by creating a brand that provides a sustainable fashion fix that doesn’t just offer high-quality hand picked garments at affordable prices, but provides a sense of community and good feeling, too.

Doing your bit literally couldn’t be easier; rework, and re-wear preloved clothes. Shop the look and make more considerable choices today by exploring our full collection of ladies’ recycled clothing.
